About Living Wells Assemblies of God
Living Wells Assemblies of God, an affiliate of Christ Center of Hope A/G, is a dynamic church located in College Park, MD. Our beliefs are based on the Bible and centered on Jesus Christ. The church exists to evangelize the lost, to have fellowship with other believers, disciple new believers, and spiritually and economically empower them to honor and glorify Jesus Christ. That means we’re not about a building or some complicated religious system, but about helping people from all backgrounds discover the joy that comes from knowing and serving Jesus Christ.
We invite you to come and check us out this weekend at one of our worship services. We know that going to a new church can be intimidating, so we try to do things in a way where you’ll feel welcome and not like an outsider. When you come, you can participate or just sit back and observe. You’ll discover a warm atmosphere, practical teaching from God’s Word, and lots of friendly people pursuing God together. And with childcare and classes for all ages, your family will love it too!
God made a promise in the Bible that if we seek after Him, we’ll find Him. You are a valued part of God’s creation, and His deep desire is to be in a relationship with you. So come and join us as we pursue God together!
Be a Living Well and Live Well
Three scriptures define Living Wells Assemblies of God’s purpose, which is for a member to be a living well and live well. In John 7: 38, Jesus said that “Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.” Before that, He had alluded to living water from a well when speaking to the Samaritan woman at the well of Jacob in John 4: 10. Living Water from a well makes it a living well, which people can draw from to quench their spiritual thirst. The plural is living wells. The “live well” part is supported by apostle John’s words in 3 John 2 that ” Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”

Family
At Living Wells Assemblies of God we value the family and we believe church should be a place for people of all ages. Every Sunday we provide children’s ministries alongside our regular services, which provides a age-appropriate environment for kids to encounter Christ.
Leadership
Living Wells Assemblies of God is guided by a leadership team that provides overall direction and watches over the spiritual needs of the church. Our pastor provides sound, practical, biblical teaching at each worship service. He has received theological and pastoral training and is equipped to share God’s love with our local community. Additionally, as a shepherd, he works to provide an economic pasture for his sheep as he looks to the chief shepherd, Jesus Christ, for guidance. Living Wells Assemblies of God is blessed to have a leadership team that is truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will.
